This course is suitable for complete beginners and also useful for those who wish to brush up on their techniques or add an additional treatment to offer to your clients and continue your professional development.

The training course is a 6 day course which will include one to one training with an assessment to ensure you are working confidently, to a professional standard. Additional home study and Practical case-studies will need to be completed to get the qualification.

During your practical training days, you will learn how to perform a safe and effective treatment so that you can confidently deliver a professional massage therapy treatment to a high standard.

Our detailed course training manual guides you through a pre-treatment consultation, covering the wide range of benefits from having a massage treatment, how to identify any contraindications and the aftercare to make your clients aware of.

Qualification

You will gain an accredited certificate for Professional Massage Therapy with Jacob Samuel Clinic an approved executive training provider with International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine. Once qualified, this will give you the opportunity to become a member and fully insured for public liability with IPHM.

The Qualification allows you to work as a self-employed therapist, in a salon, health club or spa, start your own home-based business, or even work as a mobile therapist.

Courses are refundable up to 14 days prior to Course, provided the notice is received in writing and £25.00 will be deducted for administration charges. We reserve the right to cancel a course date up to 7 days before and will advice you of an alternative date or provide you with a full refund. In the event of cancellation Jacob Samuel Clinic is not liable for travel expenses, accommodation expenses or any other associated costs.
